Do you like a good engagement story?  So do I!

The weather might have been a bit dull when I met up with Laura & Ben for their pre-wedding shoot, but our afternoon certainly wasn’t!  We met at Sutton Park, where Ben had asked Laura to marry him nearly a year ago to the date.  It is great to visit somewhere that has meaning to the couple for their pre-wedding shoot, as the images mean so much more!

I love hearing about how the couple got engaged and this story was a good one!  Ben had prepared a romantic afternoon at the park last April, with a picnic and the ring.  Imagine his face when they turned up, only to find there was a 10k race going on and the park was packed with runners and spectators!  They laugh thinking about it and it only adds to the beauty of this story that will be remembered for the rest of their lives.

Pre-wedding shoots are a great way for me to get to know the couple before their wedding and for the couple to get over any worries they have about being in front of the camera.  We took a walk and chatted as we went.  Laura & Ben are great fun with a brilliant sense of humour- although I think they found me stalking around in bushes, working to get the best shots a little amusing! (I do admit I must look a little strange to anyone else walking by!).

I can’t wait for their wedding in September- I know it will be a great day!

Pre-wedding shoots are included as part of my wedding package.  I would love to hear from you if you are planning your wedding 🙂
